ClimAid Opening Event – From Research to Action

The Opening Event of the ClimAid Research Project will take place on October 17, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., at the premises of the CYENS Centre of Excellence, marking the beginning of an important effort to strengthen the climate resilience of the museums of Cyprus.

The event is entitled “Climate Resilience for Museums and Cultural Institutions in Cyprus: From Research to Action” and is organised by the CYENS Centre of Excellence, the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus and Periopsis LTD.

During the event, the main objectives and vision of the project will be presented, along with an Open Call for museums and cultural institutions in Cyprus, which will enable interested parties to participate in shaping future strategies and benefit directly from the project’s tools.

The event marks the first public presentation of the project and a unique opportunity for professionals in the field to learn about new possibilities and tools that can contribute significantly to the protection and climate resilience of their museums, as well as to be informed for the immediate benefits for museums and institutions that will express interest to participate.
